One of my favourite love songs I wrote that for me encompasses my love of music

Lyrics

True Love Remains

For some Love's just a word,
that is so lightly taken
You hear on the streets,
hearts so young and old are breaking
Love’s seldom heard,
In the middle of an altercation
Love's never gonna burn through,
the heartfelt consternation.

Chorus:
But True Love's
a precious gift that you can give,
gives us all a reason for to live
True love will find its way on through,
true
love remains, for me and us and you

But the words just Music,
for me are celebratory
And if I were ‘ere to lose it,
a lost soul is what I’d be
Why it can even weave,
soft silky traces in your hair
It don’t matter if it all,
it flits and flutters around
without a care

Chorus:

Music floods the soul,
it never does leave me cold
Made to feel forever young
is something that we like to hold
It still leaves a tingling chill,
but in the end it wraps around
It’’ll leave both my ears,
drumming soft
to the beat o’ the sound of..

Chorus:
Words and all the music,
when you find you're hurting then
To play or to listen
matters not why just when
Don’t wrap around no bandage,
I’m not too sick in the heart
Just apply me some of that music,
liberally to the sensitive part
Chorus:
